Meet the Executive Board 2015-2016 Academic Year

Rebecca Arrowood (President)
I am starting my third year in the program as a clinical mental health emphasis.  I will be interning in the counseling center at Lawrence University this year!  I am excited to be part of the CSI executive board.  We have a great board who has come up with some awesome activities for the semester.  Outside of school I enjoy running, and I have completed two marathons this past year.  I love hanging out with friends, coffee, tea, laughing and making healthy food!  This past year I picked up playing guitar for fun (Although not sure if I have hit the fun part yet, I am not very good).  Favorite ice cream toping would be butterscotch:)  I hope you all have a great semester please come join us in CSI.  I would love to get to know you more so please feel free to contact me whenever.
Anthony Klingert (President Elect)
Hey, cool peeps and future counselors! My name is Anthony Klingert, and I am the President Elect on your CSI Board.  I'm currently in my second year of the Professional Counseling Program, and I've tremendously enjoyed the experience as a whole with all of its peaks and valleys.  My hope, as a member of the CSI Board, is to help create an environment for the students in our program to grow both professionally and personally.  What helps my personal and professional growth is the practice of Vipassana meditation.  It is one self-care practice that helps me to stay centered and present throughout my day! Self-care looks different for everybody; perhaps your CSI Board can help enhance your self-care arsenal!  Let us know what you need!  That being said, please contact me via email at any time if you would like to share ideas or if you feel I can help you in any way!
Amy Taake (Membership Chair )
My name is Amy Taake and I am a second year Clinical Mental Health Professional Counseling student. I am originally from Neenah, WI, and attended University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire as a psychology major with a family studies minor graduating May 2014. Throughout my time as an undergrad, I was actively involved in Circle K, an international collegiate community service organization; I was the secretary of the Eau Claire club my sophomore year, the Wisconsin Upper Michigan district secretary my junior year, and the Eau Claire clubs’ fundraising co-chair my senior year. I enjoy giving back to the community and love having the opportunity to positively impact others’ lives in even small ways. Family is very important to me; I am very close with all of my siblings and consider them one of the most important parts of my life. I love being an aunt to three beautiful boys and watch them learn and grow. I have a passion for working with children and families because I consider family to be a huge facet in every child's life; they have a huge impact on their development and future. My goal for the future is to work with and become advocates for children and families that have experienced some sort of trauma. I know from first-hand experience that events in the past definitely leave a strong impact on the future; however, it's your own decision on how those events affect you- you can learn from them or they can hold you back. I have many hobbies and interests that I fill my time with and use as self-care; however one of my favorites is cooking/baking. I also really like to do arts and crafts; currently doodling mostly. Along with my hobbies I love to stay active, watch movies, listen to music, and read.
Anna Girdauskas (Clinical Mental Health Emphasis Chair)
Hello! My name is Anna and I am a third year Clinical Mental Health emphasis student. My favorite self care activities include hiking, kayaking, and running with my partner and two pups. I also am a graduate assistant for the Counseling Department, so come down and see me with any questions!
Amanda Lorentzen (School Counseling Emphasis Chair)
Hello! My name is Amanda and I am your School Counseling Emphasis Chair. I graduated from UW Milwaukee in 2012 with a Psychology degree. I then took a year off to work and apply to graduate schools. I am going into my third year at UW Oshkosh and I can’t believe it! During my time in the program I have enjoyed exercising, watching Netflix and being outdoors to help myself decompress from all the school work. I will be starting my internships in Hortonville at the middle and high school.
Molly Muenster (Student Affairs & College Counseling Emphasis Chair)
My name is Molly Muenster, and I am currently finishing up my last year in the program. My emphasis is Student Affairs and College Counseling because I love watching the development of the college students I work with through their time in college, and I enjoy helping them see their potential. When I am not working or at school, you can find me spending time with my friends and family, attempting to knit (still trying to get the hang of it), painting, reading, and binge-watching a new show on Netflix. This fall I will be interning at St. Norbert College (my alma mater!) in Career Services, and I will also be working in Reeve with Volunteerism, so feel free to stop by and say "Hi!"
Sarah Tennie (Secretary)
Hi All! My name is Sarah Tennie and I am entering my third year in the program with an emphasis in School Counseling and I am the Secretary for CSI. This semester I will be doing my internships at Tullar Elementary School in Neenah and at Berlin Middle School. I will also be a Graduate Assistant for Reeve Union Board and General Leadership which entails advising undergraduate student leaders.
